How to create something iconic that would make people remember and talk about the A’DAM Tower? Besides a series of visitor experiences A’DAM wanted to create something unique that would make the tower stand out from other iconic places in Europe.
With the OverTheEdge swing visitors literally swing over the edge of the A’DAM Tower and get a magical experience floating in midair 100 meters above the city. The design of the swing is spot on and aligns perfectly with the overall identity of the brand A’DAM. Together with the GoToHeaven elevator two iconic moments have been created that are highly likeable and shareable and have resulted in worldwide exposure on social media.
The swing is part of A’DAM LOOKOUT on the 20th and 21st floor of the A’DAM Tower on the IJ in Amsterdam. The indoor and outdoor sky decks, offering 360 degrees’ views of Amsterdam, have been enriched by a series of unique, interactive visitor experiences designed by NorthernLight. Visitors can enjoy an audiovisual exhibition about Amsterdam, a mapped projection city model, a series of virtual reality touchscreen viewers, the GoToHeaven elevator and the OverTheEdge swing.
