The future of drinking water
Northernlight designed for the Museon an exhibition about drinking water. This exhibition focusses on the problematic situation and future of drinking water around the world and what we can do about it.
Exhibition: The exhibition is designed as a temple, expressing the importance of drinking water for everybody around the world. With hands-on exhibits visitors begin to understand how you can purify water, how much water is needed for your meal, how much water you use during a normal day and learn about water facts in a quiz.
All exhibits work with blue balls, which can be found in the introduction show in the middle of the exhibition. This AV show explains problems with water on our planet. By placing the balls on a location on the map a corresponding clip starts. The balls also need to be guided through a human body to explain what happens with water inside you. On a throne visitors can play “king” and decide on political (real) situations around the world.
On two large benches several water stories can be heard from around the world.
