WW2 dilemmas
The travelling exhibition, ‘The Bunker’ takes you back to the Second World War. The exhibition demonstrates the daily life of four Dutch citizens who lived during the war. The aim of the exhibition is to depict normal Dutch citizens of the time and outline the drama they when through. The exhibition received the Dutch ‘Gouden Reiger Award’ for the best interactive exhibition of 2008.
Make choices
Visitors are asked to immerse themselves in the role of one of the characters and to make the same decisions as the chosen character in the context of the war. For example, “What do you do when the German soldiers come knocking on your door?”
Visitors can experience and create their own judgment; all choices are based on real dilemmas. After much contemplation, the visitors are informed about the choices made by the persons at the time.
