Media Experience
Location: Hilversum, The Netherlands
Fantasy town
This Media Experience resembles a fantasy town, just waiting to be explored by the visitor. Fifteen themed pavilions in one large space… Each pavilion is a world of its own– in size, atmosphere, experience and character. There is no fixed route through the pavilions. Give in to the temptations of image and sound. Dim the lights – turn on the spots!
The history and impact of media
The Media Experience is a multimedia experience that takes up over 3300 square meters of exhibition space in the new building of the Dutch Institute for Sound and Vision at the Media Park in Hilversum. This newly built museum is one of the most important cultural projects being carried out by the Dutch government at present. The experience offers more than the magic of star quality, favourite props and scenery, or glimpses behind the scenes. It gives an idea of the purpose of the magic, the effects and the history. What role does the media play in the world? How important is the media in our lives?
Scope of project
Concept development, design, procurement, production management and multimedia development of interactive exhibition (15 pavilions) on Dutch radio and television in past, present and future.
