Six thematic galleries
The Copernicus Science Centre is Poland’s first interactive educational centre and one of largest facilities of its kind in Europe. The Copernicus Science Centre will overlook the Vistula River in the heart of Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The total area of the building will be approximately 15.000 meters squared and the exhibition areas will be approximately 7000 meters squared. The building will be divided into six thematic galleries, a temporary exhibition and a digital planetarium.
Over 200 exhibits
NorthernLight, together with Bruns, were awarded the contract to design and build the exhibitions “On the Move” and “Human & Environment”. Visitors of all ages will be able to learn the basics of aerodynamics, electromagnetism, human anatomy, genetics and other scientific topics through experimentation and play. About 200 hands-on exhibits will serve to demonstrate the laws of physics and chemistry and visitors are able to acquaint themselves with changes taking place in the environment, healthcare, and much more.
